In her 2026 Senate District 29 questionnaire, Battino wrote: “Voters should be able to verify their identity through multiple secure methods, not only a specific government-issued photo ID.”

The answer concerns identification methods. It does not expressly discuss constitutional entrenchment or identify a referendum vote.

In her 2026 Senate District 29 questionnaire, Battino disagreed with the statement, “Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women’s sports or occupy biological women’s spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women’s shelters, or prison.” She wrote, “Government should focus on practical solutions rather than broad mandates that take these decisions away from families and local institutions.”
